Using the strategy similar to your MSTR strategy I purchased the January 2024 1600 call last week. It's up, at this moment, about $6500. It was up over $10,000 earlier today but has pulled back to its current level. I'm giving some thought to using your "Risk Free" strategy of selling a call several strikes below that one and then putting that premium into another long call; maybe SPX.
"...middle of the Pacific..."??? Without being specific, U.S. Possession or non-U.S.?
Nice post! A long ITM call is more capital efficient than directly owning stock, but it doesn't give an investor any shareholder voting rights. Shareholder votes can be sold to generate income, similar to selling covered calls.
Hi Chris, love what you do. i am an absolute novice, but you've helped me understand what seemed impossible. When it comes to finding stocks, can you give some advice on how we do this. i don't mean picking a winner, i mean how do i find a list of stocks i could trade that are for example less than $100per share, so i could trade a covered call ( aware this link is the poor man's CC). is there a platform that can screen stocks on a cost basis or stocks that are trending, so i can work through them to figure out what stocks i might trade with. This is currently my biggest obstacle having gotten my head around the basic trades. i currently find myself copying others a bit adhoc, when they mention a stock they trade with. Your help is much appreciated. thanks in advance.
